Located in the heart of Austin, a home overlooking Lake Austin was turned into a tailored oasis for a family of four. Inspired by the brownstones of New York and London, the existing structure was taken down to the studs and the floorplan was opened up to maximize natural light and embrace the beauty of indoor-outdoor living. Original brick was removed and reused but is now juxtaposed with large-scale black steel windows, limestone sills, and a glimmering copper roof. The interiors are an unexpected union of worldly, heritage-inspired pieces and organic, family-friendly materials.
